Jed R. Schneck authored three of the five articles within the Wetlands and Surface Waters Federal Subchapter of the Florida Environmental and Land Use Law Treatise, 2015 Edition. The articles entitled, Federal Regulation of Waters and Wetlands — Overview, Section 10 Permits for Work In or Affecting Navigable Waters of the United States, and Federal Regulation of Waters and Wetlands — Permit Application Considerations, deliver a broader and more in-depth analysis of the federal regulatory permitting program in Florida. Administered by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Jacksonville District, Florida’s federal permitting program is the largest in the country and often originates nationwide legal and policy trends, making this work a valuable new resource for legal and environmental professionals in any state or territory of the United States.

Published by The Florida Bar’s Environmental and Land Use Law Section, the Florida Environmental and Land Use Law Treatise is the predominant general reference authority on environmental and land use law in Florida and standard reading in many law school courses and concentration programs throughout the state.

Mr. Schneck’s demonstrated knowledge and experience with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ regulatory permitting program brings the indispensable federal expertise to Schneck Legal’s Environmental Law and Land Use & Zoning Law practice areas. Information on Schneck Legal’s additional and interrelated practice areas can be found at: Practice Areas.
